The only cloud on the horizon concerns the winerys ramped up production during a period of economic hard times

moderate levels of acidity that segues to a very peppery and vivacious finish

weight and density while managing to remain relatively light on their feet on the slightly stony and hugely long finish

with a gripping sense of structure that is yielding but dense at the same time

spice and earth scents where the wood treatment is admirably subtle if again not invisible

There is just enough wood present to warrant mentioning on the spicier and more deeply pitched nose of plum
