Clos Jacobins Vintage:2009 The grapes fermented in open
$475.00
Description
The grapes fermented in open wooden vats and carried out the malolactic fermentation in oak barrels
The south-facing hillside named Noiré has clay-limestone soil
this hasn't changed a great deal since my last review except that the length is now even more phenomenal and the supporting tannins are a bit more apparent
tea and iron flavors are channeled by bracing acidity and refined tannins in this racy red
The resulting wine is a little lighter
Clos Jacobins Vintage:2009 The grapes fermented in openMedium full bodied, soft, silky, fresh, earthy and floral, there is sweetness and depth to the fruit, and the right amount of polish to the tannins, providing an elegant, silky experience. Close to f mature, no decanting needed, drink this over the next 10 15 years.
