Wheel and Flap Position Indicator, 8DJ4PBL, US Navy C-121 Bendix part number 13907-2K-A2-4This is a WWII era Wheel and Flap Position Indicator, Type A 2, as used in aircraft of the US Army Air Force and US Navy with tail wheel landing gear, such as the US Navy fighter F6F Hellcat, see image of instrument panel from the F6F flight manual dated 1944 showing the location of this indicator. This indicator has the color scheme with Munsell green, evidence of its use in US Navy aircraft. This indicator is in exceptional condition for its age.
