backward and brooding nose reluctantly gives up hints of very earthy dark pinot fruit nuanced by a distinct animale hint that merges into broad-shouldered flavors that offer excellent volume and concentration that finishes with just a hint of dryness and plenty of minerality

Alain Hudelot Noellat, Vosne Romanee Beaumonts Vintage:2020 dried fruits with a strongA broad range of floral elements suffuses subtly spiced aromas of plum, red cherry and sandalwood. The elegant, pure and chiseled flavors terminate in a youthfully austere, dusty and focused finale that exudes an abundance of minerality; indeed it seems as though the finish is built on it. This is most impressive, and I particularly like the purity of expression.
