Stingemore's 1925 Passenger Map Publisher(s)_Pierre & Jacques Chouët and also hackney coach faresThe May 1925 issue of Stingemores passenger map shows Wembley Exhibition Grounds, and its covers advertise the number of escalators and other amenities such as clear air and a comfortable seat. Our map is the first of a series designed by Fred Stingemore and issued free to passengers from 1925 onwards, to be ultimately replaced by Beck's diagram in 1933. Although the maps were roughly geographical, all surface topography (even the Thames in early
