Natural Dye Sarong Jewellery Dumai has spent her lifeOur natural dye sarongs are coloured entirely through a plant based dyeing process developed by Vidurangi and Dimuthu, who sourced discarded vegetable matter from around our weaving centres. The beautifully unpredictable variation in colour is not a flaw, it is intrinsic to the cloth. Sustainable, non toxic, and biodegradable, our dyes are derived from roots, flowers, leaves, fruit skins, and reclaimed sawdust. Each piece is unique and individually
