It pours a bright red color and is lifted on the nose with aromas of preserved orange

This wine has gone through some oak ageing in a style reminiscent of Bordeaux Blancs from the 1960s

and probably more like 15 years

cool and elegant nose of ripe and mildly exotic essence of pear

Chacra, Pinot Noir Cincuenta y Cinco Size:12x750ml caper brineAged for seven months 55% in concrete tanks, 41% in used French oak barrels and 4% in amphorae. Perfumed nose, with that floral character allied to lovely depths of red fruit. A subtle and intertwined earthy character. Plenty of structure from the mouth watering acidity and fine, chalky tannins, which are taking the lead on the palate, for the time being at least. However, this is bound to relax a little with another year in bottle. (OC)
