This compass still contains clear fluid
likely made for an Air Force order in 1958
The parallel lines actually are printed on inner plexiglas plate below the outer glass
The glass has a slight haze but could be opened and cleaned

The course indicator is adjusted by rotating the screw in the upper right corner. We are unsure of the actual intended application of this indicator. Measures 3. 5 in. square by 3 in. deep.
