slightly chalky tannins

with a nicely firm finish

Varoilles, Clos Vougeot Size:6x750ml Scents of licorice(from a leased 1 ha parcel though most of the production goes to Domaine Paul Misset; to wit only 600 to 900 bottles are typically commercialized under the Domaine des Varoilles label). Here too there is plenty of wood influence framing the wild dark berry fruit aromas that are laced with earth, game and menthol notes. The wood extends to the solidly concentrated flavors that manage to hold their focus better on the sneaky long if slightly warm
