As this is a genuine hand made piece there is no markings however I do suspect the fitting where it will secure to a chain is gold [the tarnish cleaned instantly from the clasp which is generally a very good sign]

Complete with jump ring on top of the case so could be adapted to be worn as a pendant on a chain
