Biek The Bicknell quadrangle lies astride the Paunsaugunt fault zone in south central Utah and includes Oligocene and Miocene volcanic rocks of the gently east tilted Awapa Plateau juxtaposed against Mesozoic strata famously exposed at nearby Capitol Reef National Park. Large Quaternary landslides, derived from weak volcaniclastic strata on the adjacent flanks of Thousand Lake Mountain and Boulder Mountain, partly fill Rabbit Valley on
