The tray requires some polishing and have feint surface scratches due to use
Vintage 1913-1953 Royal Vale White & Gold Bone China Saucer – Pattern 6076 Enamelware after which the word JapanThe firm was established by Herbert Joseph Colclough in 1897 and moved to the Vale Works in 1907. In 1913 King George V and Queen Mary visited the firm and it received a Royal licence and became Royal Vale. In 1937 the firm of Thomas Morris and the Osborne China Co. joined that of H. J. Colclough and it became Colclough China Ltd, which was acquired by Booths Ltd in 1944. In 1953 the Lawley Group (owners of Ridgway and Adderley Co) acquired the firm
