Inks come exactly as shown, pre mixed & ready for use. All inks are considered "waterproof". 1 oz jar As with any calligraphy ink, we recommend that you open the package over a sink or other easily cleaned area, just in case. When traveling with ink, we always recommend putting your ink in a plastic bag {or two!}.
