Extension Coffee Table Model 4652 by George Nelson bar family styleThis early George Nelson design features two extensions with reversible and removable tray tables. Closed, it is a modestly scaled table. Opened, the surface nearly doubles to 6 feet, and the two loose trays flip to become serving trays with white mica tops. It is a perfect example of Nelson's highly functional and rationalist design sensibility. Great vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use.
