The debut was certified Gold by the RIAA for 500,000 copies sold on Mar. 11, 1994.* The debut album from Glenn Danzig's namesake group, and the first release from Rick Rubin's Def American Recordings label, included "Mother", the live version of which became a hit on MTV.
