The album, which was released on Aug. 1, 1994, was certified Gold by the RIAA on Oct. 18, 1994 for 500,000 copies sold.* This was the second album from the prankster comedy duo of New Yorkers Johnny Brennan and Kamal Ahmed, consisting of 27 prank calls. The release was nominated for a Grammy Award in 1995 for Best Comedy Album. By 1995 the album was certified Platinum by the RIAA for one million copies sold.
