Mac-Talla Strata 15 year Old 46% 70cl Speyside drawn from two years’ bottleMatured in sherry and ex bourbon oak casks A single malt from Islay Nose: Tangy orange and cherry aromas from the sherry cask shine through, fishing nets and wet sandy beaches. Some rich aromatic smoke underpins the nose perfectly. Palate: As rich as the nose from the first sip. Dark fruits and chocolate notes create a full mouthfeel that grows nicely with peat and smoke, some tangy spices, smoked kippers and honey drizzled over fruit cake.
