This old vine Shiraz has been co-fermented with a little Zibibbo (Muscat) and the result is fantastic

though there are some nice dry appetising tannins on the finish

Dense and filling on the palate with wild dark fruit

ripe apricot and delicate citrus notes complemented by hints of floral and dried green herbs

limes and yuzu delicately filling the palate while white peaches and more exotic notes emerge

Wasenhaus, Gutedel 2019 Soumah This old vine Shiraz hasPale golden in colour. Initially on the nose there's just a touch of reduction giving way to aromas of pear skin, white apricot, and bee pollen. The palate is dry and savoury with yellow fruits, a fresh stony component and the faint hint of a peppery spiciness to it.
